Today at approximately 1:20 am we started experiencing issues on one of our hardware nodes (NZ-AKL2-V02RQ8) which resulted in servers and sites hosted on that node having intermittent connectivity issues. After a quick investigation, we discovered that one of the servers hosted on the node was under a Distributed Denial-of-service attack (DDoS). We worked with our upstream network providers to start scrubbing the destination IP of the server that saw the influx of requests drop off at around 2 am.
We have since moved the targeted server to an isolated hardware node to prevent any further disruptions to services. If you are still experiencing any issues don't hesitate to contact us at support@sitehost.co.nz
