Overnight we received notification of a vulnerability that has been discovered in the Ubuntu Kernel that impacts many Ubuntu Linux based environments, including our Cloud Container platform in AKL01, AKL02, AKL03 and SYD01.
Today, we patched our Cloud Container platform in AKL01, AKL02 and SYD01, however for this patch to take effect your server(s) need to be rebooted. As this didn't meet our threshold for a Critical Maintenance we are scheduling the reboots for Tuesday 01/08/23, at 11pm NZST.
If you would like to apply these security update earlier you can simply login to the Control Panel and reboot your Cloud Container server.
All impacted customers have been emailed directly.
